Poor air intake!

First of all I posted this video like a humor, but then I thought a bit.
What do you think, what can cause this?
Air filter is a new one.
It's a problem in the intake pipe (it becomes too soft) or there are some problems in air intake after filter box? (thin pipes or dead mouse in it 😃 )

I guess I saw a topic here where someone installed intake piping from diesel engine?

well thats not good :shock: :shock: i'll have to see if mine is the same are all 2.2's the same?

the pipe is colpassing which i have never seen before on a non turbo charged engine.
pipe needs replacing. i would fit a solid ally pipe with some silcone hoses in place.

have you checked to see if your air filter or the cold air feed is blocked?

Nope.
But the filter was installed several weeks ago.
Besides, guys, this problem was right from the moment I bought the car! It had a lose of power on the full trottle and in high revs.

So, I think there may be two problems: blocked cold air feed of too soft pipe between air box and trottle body ....
But I set up yesturday a metal ring inside the pipe so it stoped to shrink and I've got a great piece of power. I felt in on the highway.... 8)

Last news: I got a cold air feed pipe from vectra C, it's look like bigger ....
Tonight will deinstall the airbox, look for different blockings, besides redestrict pipes inside airbox (thanks to HOW TO section).
