scan gauge 2 ?

anybody have any experience with this iten it looks like a good bit of kit i dont have a trip computer on my car but it also doubles as a OBD scanner.
i was thinking of getting on but wanted to see if anybody else has one or used one.

It's a really good bit of kit. Seen Ffoeg replace his MF in his MK4 with one.

thinking if anybody else wants any might be able to ask if we could get a discount. coz i am deffo wanting one now you can even BHP with it no need for rolling road now just pop on the m1 at night time and away you go.

Do all the features it lists work with our cars/ engines?

basically it is a fault code reader with other little neat tricks

and yes it should support all the sensors on the z22se

does things like revs,mpg,mph

They are good, i borrowed one off a pal, only issue is mog was reading in us gallons so gave false readings.

Still good though :thumbup:

i just orderd on will let you all know what its like when i get it, i also like the BHP reading aswell. saves on a rollijng road just jump onto motor way at night.

if he has this data sheet that gives him all these extra functions, surely he has a way of changing the set up of the MPG readings to show british gallons instead of american?

Im really liking the horsepower function too, but do u think it will be as accurate as a rolling road?

It's probably as accurate as the iphone as working out BHP. There are a couple of apps that you can do that with.

just out of curiousity, how is the horsepower/torque at the flywheel measured? it something iv wondered for a while as how u measure it at the wheels is blatantly obvious

its turned up this morning ive just plugged in and set it all up, only problem i cant drive at the min cos of the medication iam on so i will let you all know what its like when i take it for a spin.
at the min i ts set for BHP, RPM, MHP and manifold preasure but you can change them about for what ever you want to monitor. i like this yipeeee
