supercharger silencer holes

Does anybody have a pic of the silencer holes on a m62 supercharger? there is a charger available which has had the silencer holes welded up, would like to know where they are/if they're in a possable position to be opened back out?

No pic available now, but easy to google up some images on "M62 SC porting"

Next to the outlet triangle there are 2 rectangular silencer ports. These can be closed to gain a bit of efficiency. Is mostly done with "quick-steel" or similar, as welding can warp the alu casing!!
You will also find pics of "ported" blowers where these holes are enlarged... Clearly no clue what they are doing. :shock:

In the listing he says they are plugged and every thing works ok.
I messaged asking if the plugging was reversable and he says no as there pretty much welded in, so i think i'll give it a miss if if theres a chance it could warp the houseing.

some people in usa closeed the 2 silencer holes and said tke c/s is going louder...but i don't know what's realley going on. may be the c/s is going more hot ??

Well.. If you close off some Eaton engineered "silencer holes", most likely it will get louder... 😃

Has something to do with pressure waves slamming back into the supercharger lobes that causes the whining.

i think, the original is the best.
ok a smaler pulley is a nice idea. but onley with a other software and the rowles about 250/260 ps
