glyn74 Hi as above i took it back to the garage and the bloke who serviced it had another look he said something about oil splashed on something and he said the sump plug is on tight it is only small patches on the driveway any idea where it could be coming from
glyn74 Lol! Mike i have not got any ramps or axle stands but my car didnt have an oil leak before it was serviced! I had a good look under my car it seems to be coming from the side of the sump
MikeS which side of the sump ? usual places on the 2.2 engine is crank seal, main seal, water pump, power steering pump
glyn74 I got in front of the car and under it as much as i could then i stretched my arm to the back of the sump thats where the oil is dripping from
MikeS look down the back of the head from on top and reach behind the water pump can u feel any oil there ?
glyn74 I will have a look tomorrow so open the bonnet and put my hand where the water pump is? I wonder how much one of them will cost supplied and fitted
