francav hiya all, does anyone know if you have a blocked oil way on head can it be repaired, its lacking lubrication on exhaust side of cam, and if so anyone know procedure, does head have to come off, thanks all, fran.
vocky the oilway has a restrictor fitted just above the head gasket and the only way to access that is remove the head :thumbdown:
francav i think something of head gasket was blocking it, to late tho, head is knackered, good job i got a spare. ive just bought an head gasket and its double layered, are they meant to be like that, the 1 i took off only looks like 1 layer.
obelman I hve also one intake cam dry, when opened the cover, I think I will need to try also clean it first with high pressure air? Anyone else suffeeed same problem?
