grave My well serviced Vectra finally gave up and now I need a new engine. I just find one from 2004 Astra MK4 2.2 SRI (Z22SE). Is there any problems to expect if I try to drop it to 2001 Vectra 2.2 (Z22SE) with automatic transmission? One thing I find out was that inlet cam is different? If so, can I use old engine(vectra) cam with this new one(astra)?
MikeS Re: Engine change from Astra to Vectra... any problems to ex yep the cams are identical apart from the hex end for powering the power steering pump engine mounts might be different but i am not sure
