vectra b timing chain

Hi all this is my first post on here so hello all

Just a quick question where can i find out if my oil jets/chain has been changed id like to know for piece of mind the vectra has done 100k now there are no noises and runs like a dream if they do need to doing does any one know who can do it cheaply as i dont want to spend hundreds as lets face it the car aint worth loads know ... many thanks carlos

One way you can tell if its been changed is to take the rocker cover off and check the chain for coloured links. the original chains arent coloured wheras the new kits are.

thanks for the advice ill take a look i have a receipt that says balance cam shaft chains has various parts on it like gaskets and sprokets i cant see a chain tho
