halfords paint mixing.. any good?

Are halfords any good at paint mixing or am I asking for trouble?
Bought a ropey hard top which I have mostly sorted out just needs painting now
Need about a can per coat

last time i used them gave them my colour code and i got a drak green/black back when my green is bright as anything so in my eyes no its total crap get a proper paint mixing company to do it, like www.paints4u.co.uk :thumbup:

If it's pre-mixed, the match is usually pretty good. If they are mixing it in store, it's down to how good the individual is.

I used them, and had Prestige Blue mixed up so I could spray my headlight brows, and it was a shit colour match

I used Paints4U for the paint for my spoiler, and the colour match was spot on

Also used them for a touch up kit on the Vectra.
