mac1976 a have been offered a astra sri 2.2 03 plate with 46k on clock tax and mot out , engine has a hole in block , been offered it for £900 is this a fair price
JohnnyN Sounds like the chain has gone and led to the rod snapping and finding its way out of the block? £900 isn't bad if you can get another engine for not much fuss but engines aren't cheap.
Daz Yeah as long as its an astra box, not a vectra one....as the mouting are differnet.....however the ratios maybe diff on the non turbo box....i may be wrong tho
