finally got around to making a start on the build for my vectra estate!

the I.C.E

and the box.... 3 cu.ft (after displacment of port and sub) L-ported box tuned to 35 Hz, 25mm MDF, glued & screwed!

sealed & resprayed port area!

top glued & screwed!

and a delivery today of another shiney extra thanks to "BURT" :thumbup:

Ah now i see what its for :thumbup: s*it hot! Thats a well planned out box. Like the sub allot it looks an animal!

If I were in your position, I'd smooth off as much as possible the corners for the port .. the sharp edges of the port will create a sort of 'chuffing
sound as the air moves back and forth through the port.

thanks for the shiney bit burt, think it'll tidy that area up that never normally gets sorted!

and i know what you mean about the chuffing..... even tho i have the top on now, i can still get to the second length of the port quite easily so i may round the top edge off that today! :thumbup: thanks for the heads up!

Had had a bad case of 'chuffing' under the duvet this morning! It was causing the duvet to buffit up and down on each chuff!

just a test to make sure the holes right!

and a test fit in the car & measure up for the face boards!
also you can just see i've removed the plastic terminal post block and now have a inside board glued & sealed with wiring going through and then post board on a back plate behind box to make it a stronger area!

close fit to get 6X9's in as due to there massive magnets there actually touching wheel arches! :crazy:

did the floor, with hinges so i can still use side compartments! :thumbup:
