Smoking_Toes I have fitted my EGR blanking plate today, and I am still having the same problem as before that the car is cutting out sometimes when you put the clutch in to stop at lights or a junction. It looks pretty much as is shown in the picture on my previous post. Has any one got any suggestions as to what the cause may be. All help appreciated
Smoking_Toes Yeah it is I have just replaced the breather pipe on it as well as the pipe was split. It is a W reg as well.
Smoking_Toes No mate where abouts is this located, not mechanically minded, and will take a look will it be a case of a new sensor or just a clean, sorry don't mean to be thick. cheers for that advice tho
blue_se2 if it is the x20xev 20 ltr engine it is most likely to be the idle control valve these can be cleaned as a tempary measure but usually end up needing a new one
