How many miles do you get to a tank?

Hi all,

Just wondered, how many miles do you all get to a full tank of petrol?

I haven't run mine on petrol for a while so can't remember, but am thinking of going to France soon, so just in case I can't get hold of LPG I wondered what a rough figure is? I get 250 miles from a tank of lpg and I think I got about 350 from a tank of petrol?

350 miles from a tank of petrol is about right not sure on LPG dunno.. , i drove to the Dordogne in France last year and i averaged 42.5MPG 😃 with a 2 adults and 2 kids and a car full of stuff.

What size tank does the Astra have, is it 63ltr? If so, you should be able to get 350 miles no problem if not more when M-Way driving.

Well, I would think that its still good for over 300 miles on the motorway? I'm a bit out of touch with my car really. It drinks petrol like Oliver Reed drank scotch!

Ok so 52 litre tank = about 11.5 gallons.

So at 35mpg should be 400 miles then
or 42mpg =483 miles.

getting around 32 mpg at he mo on a run if i dont go above 90 but around town average is about 21mpg

I drove to North Wales and back (not in the same day) and got just over 400 miles from 60 litres. Not great but not much is M way Driving

I get around 270 miles out of my tank, and the trip computer says 26.5mpg.... Not the best for this size of engine, and I used to get around the same from my 2.5 veccy!
Mind you thats better than the 928 I used to run... 13mpg or down to around 4 if you were ragging it :wtf:

got to portsmouth and back on 40 quid worth of fuel in january

320 miles

got back on 16 litres on way back but hammered it way there

that was in my 2.2 vectra

so around 450 to a tank

lol thats nowt i get a hundred miles from a tank in my landy ........ it is a 3.9 v8 suking from a 40l tank tho ....lol

i get around 300 miles from a full tank but thats before ive messed with it might check again next time i fill up.

foot on the floor up the motorway mine goes down to 6.4mpg, not that you could sustain that, but you can almost see the guage go down lol :wtf:

It all depends how you drive and if you use cruise control. For example, i went on a spot of motorway driving NEVER exceeding 80mph and these twere the figures i got. See pics below: -

Bear in mind i had already done: -

And to top it all i drive an automatic 2.2 which is a bit more heavier on fuel. I do keep it regularly serviced and where possible i make sure tracking is ok too (less rolling resistance)
