I thought i would have a look on my internet banking to see how many penny's i had as i wanted to buy something off ebay.
Got on and it said £87, thought this couldnt be right so i had a look at transaction history to find £317 had been taken out.
So i rung my bank up and asked them why it had been taken but all they could say was "You will have to ring up tomorrow so we can see what the money was for".
Some good they were,anyway i was trying to think what it could be but nothing came to my mind.
Had a look on my paypal account as i had abit in there but as soon as i tried to log in it said i had to change my password,security questions and answers.
I thought to myself this is odd as ive never had to change them all before but as soon as i did them it came apparent.
Someone had hacked into my paypal account and took the £317 for something which it said i had paid for off SynergyWorks Internet.
So i put up a dispute as i dont even know what i should have bought off them and on the reciept for the company it hasnt even got my postal address or anything related to me apart from it saying ive bought it.
My only problem is now ive got direct debits coming out on thursday and ive not got enough to pay for them a it takes Paypal 7 days just to see if its a fraudalant claim or not.
So now ive got to go to bank tomorrow and try and sort something out about my direct debits and see what happens.
Abit of friendly advise, Check your bank and paypal and whatever you do dont accept anything from SynergyWorks Internet.
