Yeah! I'm tempted to just bung a standard engine in now and break or sell the other engine!

Think i'll be pulling the engine again....cant stand the vibration! Maybe balance delete, lightened flywheel and higher compression pistons aren't such a good mix :-(
Tickover is horrendous too. Doh!

Engine mounts have already been changed and filled. Crank is off to be balanced tomorrow, but the next question is; based on the cost of mapping on this ecu, is it worth going for something like an Emerald or Megasquirt system?

just had a quick read through this thread n that looks very nice but what does it actually do?

Not really been far yet....still have to connect the brake servo hence the brakes are sooooo heavy. Will get a connector tomoz. Does go well though. Be interesting to see what Coutenays can do with it.

Not really sure yet Dave as it still needs its rolling road setup, but hopefully the inlet will add some power and responsiveness ;-)

sounds good, so what you hoping for roughly? hp wise? will it need mapping in to the system to see maximum results?

Have finally bunged in my rebuilt engine which has YH pistons, balanced bottom end, lightened Courtenay flywheel, ported Saab head, 4-2-1 exhaust, Comp cams ( stage 1 ), and now this plenum so it'll defo need a re-map to tie it all together. Am hoping for around the 180 mark, but the more the merrier!! lol!

You may well be running out of head room with the original injectors now. Get CS to check this above 80% duty cycle not good, above 90% the ECU can't regulate the injectors so they basically are permanently on.
It may be worth looking at the Dutch software but aircon and traction control are not supported.
