Today i decided i would spend some time getting her all scrubbed up n shiney!

took me 3 and a half bleedn hrs :roll:

worth it tho..

first had a go at the scratch on the back door with some 3M cutting compound to try and take the edge off it ( not very sucsessful i must admit as my polisher is shaite )
got it lookin a bit better by hand tbh!

then out come the products!

started by giving her a wash using the autoglym bodywork shampoo conditioner and then the heavens opened. great :thumbup:

took her inside the garage and chamois her down.

then i masked off all the plastics to make the application easier!

i then give her 2 coats of the autoglym resin polish, this i have no pics off as i was in the swing of things and forgot! :crazy:

1 dead arm and a few smokes later it was ready for the Autoglym HD wax, £40 i paid for this so it and better been good!

i only took 2 pics of this as i was tiring and loosing my oomph!

went on to buff that off and man what a shine :thumbup:

like glass!
next i did the windows inside,outside and the headlights with autoglym glass polish
and finished off by using autoglym metal polish on the grill exhaust etc.
felt like a workout al the gym!
i didnt do the wheels today as they are comin off refurb on monday. woo hoo

well pleased with the overall product :thumbup: (as i spent nearly £100 on the stuff 2day 🙁 )

Looks good mate, never really been a big fan of Autoglym though.

Looking good. Autoglym isn't a bad starting point but there is a whole world of difference just by moving upto Meguiars products combined with Poorboys products or Chemical Guys etc.

Have a go with a clay bar kit and you'll know what glass feels like. Matt and Simon have a wealth of knowledge on detailing.

its about having the know i suppose, well i found autoglym ok but i have had no experince in owt else so i'l try something more up market nxt time then :thumbup:

For the money, I'm seriously impressed with DoDo Juice

I've done my car 4 times with it, and it's hardly used anything, so really good value for money as well.

I've spent many an hour looking through detailingworld.co.uk ; there is a vast amount of information to be found on there.

i have orded a 30ml sample poy of dodo juice from ebay which was suppose to arrive today funny enough,
same old story tho, maybe tomorrow!

Yeah, it's a really good wax, especially for the money.

I got a 250ml pot of Purple Haze, and I'm really impressed with it. It's really easy to apply, takes about 10 minutes to cure, and buffs off really easy. Because it's still quite a hard wax, it's difficult to over apply it, which makes application even easier.

I've used Collinite #915 and over applied that, and spent longer buffing it off than it should have took to clean the whole car.

The best products i found for silver was Clearkote Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze then applied Collinite No. 476S, i have a better picture but can't find it atm

£32 for 250ml

That's £90 for the same amount in smaller pots.

Least you will be able to do the car, Car is looking good though, wait till you try a few other products though.
