i noticed last nite that my red battery light came on and went straight off then i seen it doing it agen and this is while i was driving. i drive a zafira.
This mornin i used the car and jus as i was gettin to my destination the power steering had failed and was a pain in the butt! i noticed ABS lights and traction control lights had appeared and they are now on and off. I parked up switched off engine and tried to start it agen and the lights all flickered on but the engine wudnt start. the milage clock reset and the needles were pointing downwards!! petty light came on the works even tho there was petrol in the car!
I finally got it started and it seemed ok i parked it up and the power steering started to work but then cut out and wudnt start again like the ba was dead. i turned it off and got someone to jump start it and it seemed ok. turnin the headlights on freaked the electrics out and the service lite and everything came on all except the red battery light id seen last nite!!
i drove it home without power steering and parked it up. has anybody else has this problem?? is my bat dead? or is it damp or wiring??? HELP!!
