No V-Power

All the Shell garages around my way have no V-Power fuel :thumbdown: . I have had to fill up twice now with BP Ultimate 97 and thats the only time I have ever used BP fuel, will I be ok with BP Ultimate, I have always used Shell V-Power. This has been for a month now my local Shell stations have had none of this fuel I use. Cheers

There are a few threads on the web at the minute. Shell are making a new mixture up for their V-Power, and they have been having quality issues, so no deliveries to garages.

I filled up last week and they had loads, should have enough to get me to Norfolk and back on Saturday.

You'll be fine with BP Ultimate as well, anything 97 and above with your remap.

Cool, I might use Tesco's 99 ron if I can find a local garage that sells it, thats until V-Power gets sorted

Local Tesco that sells 99 is the other side of Sheffield! If we run out of Vpower, I'll just use BP as that is behind my house.

Same here in Bristol. No V-power since Saturday. I rang all the Shell garages as I never had enough fuel to drive round. I've used Tesco 99 instead.

everytime i have used that tesoc petrol the engine management light has come up.
never happens with any other petrol and it also runs like a pic on it compaired to even basic 96!

i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole myself, it apparently has a very high benzine content in it!

I've put £55 worth of Tesco 99 in the tank this weekend! Hurry up Shell!!

I've never used any type of Tesco petrol. In my Vecta, I ran BP Ultimate diesel, and it loved it. There was still V-Power on sale at my local Shell tonight, but I've been able to only do 35 miles since I filled up last week. Don't need to drive the car until Thursday now as well.

Been and filled up tonight, both V-Power pumps were available at my local Shell garage.
