Another good clean & debadge

Gave the car another good clean yesterday, as it hadn't been washed since I had the dint fixed. Also removed the griffin badge from the boot.

I've removed the sound proofing from the inside of the bonnet as well

Gave the cam cover a good polish as well with Meguiars metal polish

and the end result

Certainly does, don't know whether to take the Astra badge off as well, just leaving the VXR one?

I would take the astra badge off and leave the VXR... (the VXR is a statement)

but i asked my misus to come take a look and her opinion was all or nothing as people can see its a VXR so mixed views here sorry matt dunno..

If I took the VXR badge off as well, it would need something else doing with the silver strip, as it's too plain on it's own. Carbon wrap?? 😃

Cheers burt, the only thing I'm not really happy with is the side bolster on the drivers seat, as the foam is collapsing (was like that when I bought it). Just means a trip to Leicester to have the foam and leather replaced by CCS

I've read on the VXR site they only charge something like £60 to repair a bolster, so wouldn't be worth me doing it myself.

Ah thats not too bad then retrims and repairs are usualy silly money. Plus not the sort of car you would want to bodge!

I can probably do the trim myself as well (done quite a bit of window tinting and graphic design stuff at school). Should only cost about £20 for the stuff.
