TheDan My bleeding car alarm has started going off again now its getting sunny out. Last year it seemed to go off every time the sun came out - nothing to do with other cars/people knocking it! Pain in the arse seeing as i work on the second floor and i have to keep running down to turn it off. Its an Astra 2.2 hatch Any help would be much appreciated
rushy On the Vec there's a button to isolate the movement sensors inside the car in case you lock the car with an occupant inside. Can you do this on the Astra?
Low3sy i thinkk there is a button on the astra's.... poss up by the iterior light, hold it in for a second or so and the led flashes fast on the dash if i remember, this should deactivate the passenger sensors as described above.
rushy If it solvs the problem then you have isolated it to one area/sensor and you can take it from there. A similar problem on my Vec just turned out to be a dirty contact.
