Intake query - Astra 2.2

Right Gentlemen!

i have removed the old intake from my 2.2, and i have put in a dbilas intake, the problem i have is that the pipe that goes from the original intake to the airbox obviously doesn't fit, i have been to the scrapyard to try to find a pipe that might fit, found on a 2.5 v6 omega, got that home, fits around the new intake, but it won't take the route to the air box! any suggestions as to what i can use to fill the gap? all i can think of is exctractor duct piping with 3" diameter! flexible pipe is ideal as i dont think i will find anything that is a direct fit!

A combination of 2x silicone elbows and ally tube will do the trick nicely. BURT150 may be able to offer some advice. He's made up pipe work before.

cheers for the reply mate, i am going to invest in one of those pipes that burt150 is selling, but it wasn't that part i was after, as it's quite difficult to explain what i mean! i will make a paint diagram now lol (attempt to anyway!)

yes these are the kinds of ideas i was after, anything like any of those would be perfect, obviously they are online, know any shops i can get that kind of ducting from gents?

Fantastic, do you know what was used to meet it to the TB? and to the airbox?

You need a 70mm i/d 90 degree silicon hose bend and the bit you cut off to get it down on to the throttle body you use for a joiner to the airbox.

just an update as to what i got done today....i got it fitted EVENTUALLY but using a quick fix! the omega part i picked up, i cut that up into 2 joining parts, and used a piece of guttering to pair them up, this was horrible with the amount of room i had to work with! there is just no room on a 2.2 astra!
