From my 2.4L thread some of you have seen that I'm running Suzuki bike ITBs with the first bit of one of vocky's old manifolds, but I'm really not happy the air flow is that smooth (they're joined with silicone hose), and I'm still wrestling with air seal problems, even after redoing all the gaskets...
Searching ebay for ITBs I can't help but notice these guys:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Skyline-GTR-R32-R ... 2a051320da
Skyline GTR ITBs are 45mm ID afaik, and the bolt pattern looks a lot like that of pierburg/webber carbs, so if I'm massively lucky they might fit the WebCon manifold - which gives a rather nice ITB system for around 370 quid - without the injectors, which is what I want (I like the idea of using the ones in the head that directly squirt down each port).
Does anyone here know anything about Nissans? Is there some manual/pdf with the bolt/cylinder spacings?
What are the measurements for the standard webber/pierburg pattern used in the Webcon manifold?
Just using measurements from the ebay pictures, I'm guessing:
90mm spacing between inlets
60mm vertical spacing for bolts
38mm horizontal spacing for bolts
The webber pattern appears to be (from http://www.teglerizer.com/dcoe/dimensions.htm)
90mm spacing
69mm vertical
21mm horizontal
I could do with some exact figures for the Nissan, but I reckon I could just bodge the bolt holes if the actual inlets are spaced correctly...
