Hello All
I just purchased a Vectra sri 2.2 direct (55 Plate) with a known problem. The spanner light was on (no eml light) and i had the car diagnosed saying a fault in the fuel system.
So i replaced the fuel pressure regulator and that seems to of solved the problem (Glad it was not the pump)
Now i have the eml light on, Phoned vaux and they said to take it for a run and see if it clears. Could of been due to the fpr and may rectify itself.
As a new owner to this car i have no idea how these car performs or what mpg i should be getting.
Performance seems ok to me for a 2.2....little slow on the pick up but i think that may be normal for such a big car, however i only average 25 - 26 mpg (everywhere) short and long runs.
I presume this is a little low and the fact i have the eml light....is it possible that it may be the air flow sensor??? or maybe something else notsure.gif
If it is something like that where is the best place to get one and how much would they cost.
