Hi all!
Got another problem with my Vecra C SRI (yay). This time it's making an odd noise going round islands and occasionally in a straight line.... just wanted some advice or suggestions as to what it might be?
The noise is a bit hard to describe.. it sounds like a bearing is on it's way out , but it's not a constant hum noise you get from a knackered bearing (like somethings only partially gone) and it's intermittent.
I've checked all the wheels by jacking it up and pull/pushing the top and bottom of the wheel, and by spinning it... they all seem fine with no noises coming from any of the wheels. The car has done nearly 106K so bearings would be the most logical thing to be going on it, but I'm not too sure if it is and just thought I'd get some advice before I start replacing things that ain't broke. I've recently replaced both anti-rollbar drop links because they were shot and knocking like a mother.
Has anyone experienced this? Thoughts, suggestions and answers on a postcard please 😃
