I never use a scraper on my windows or if i have to ill use the rubber side. Deicer every time!
I'll not be using a scraper from now on after seeing the big scratch it's done this morning. Mind you, as you can see, it's the coldest I've had to scrape ice off, and it took ages to de-ice it this morning, even with the engine on and the air con running.
