A precat is Vauxhalls' ingenious idea of restricting your engine by putting a lump of mesh in your exhaust pipe just below the exhaust manifold (before the sensors & cat). HOWEVER it has caused my standard cast manifold to crack and had it replaced 3 times! So now i have a 4-1 and precat removed and OH what a difference!
You can find links in the "How to" section on how to remove it! Definately well worth it but make sure you use a vice when removing because you dont want to damage the flexi-pipe!
