whats this for?

hi all,

does anyone know what this plug is for? as when i put my engine back together i couldnt find a home for this, or maybe it doesnt have a home?

should connect to a black capacitor which bolts to the head, doubt the engine will fire without it connected dunno..

thanks, i did have a look but still cant work it out.

it does start and no eml light on so cant be that important but its one of those things where u know its there and its bugging me :think:

if someone could have a look at yours to see where it goes that would be a big help.

Just had a look under my bonnet (with a torch), it looks as though it connects to a plug with a single brown wire coming from it and going round the back of the engine, hope this helps but it was a bit too dark to see clearly!
