Wonder if you guys could help. My car keeps failing to start in very cold mornings. Nothing odd about that, alternator or battery I hear you say. Well the battery is reading 12.70v and 14.40 when running. On a good start it will drop to about 9.5v which from reading a post by dean is quite normal. Right that is when its all working fine. When its not it just clicks, battery still at 12.33v after multiple attempts to start but while turning over instead of it reading 9.5v its only dropping to 11.5v ish. So would that suggest something wrong with the starter or a relay? It only seams to do it on really cold mornings, anything below -2 but has also done it when its slightly warmer. Any ideas guys?
Steve 🙂
