thanks for the input guys, just had the door card off and disconnected the motor etc, while the battery was off, checked wiring (the little bit i could get too) and seems fine.
put in the new fuse and reconnected battery and still blowing it but i'm sure i heard it (click) blow it while i was putting the bits back into the door, so thinking it may be a short in the wiring somewere? dunno..
its now too dark so put it all back together, only thing now is the window is open about 5mm so hope it doesn't rain or freeze too hard!
while i was there i see adjusters either side off the window (inside the door), can i just wind them up abit to close the gap at the top of the door for now (well tomorrow) and then sort it at weekend when i have more time and day light?
