Well my new glue stuck thank feck!
I started off with a brace to hold the width rite then pulled the splits together with two 2 inch flat plates,
Then i glued a 16 swg aly plate behind each split and also a 4inch bit of 3/4 steel tube in the lower flute,
Then after that i glued down the face of the split and left it for a couple of hours before D/Aing it off to a slight grove to allow a bit of filler,
Must say the glue i used from rotex was much better altho they didn't supply and mixing nozles with it and i ended up mixing it by hand with a plastic spreader it stuck like sh*t to a blanket so that wont be breaking anytime soon!
And thats where im at with it, just got to tidy up the inside of it with some sikoflex and stone chip spray and then kick on with the filling and smoothing out of the face 🙂
