and it's gone again. Wireless is working fine. Going to plug switch directly into router and see if I get an IP address.

Even plugging straight into the router via cat5 it's not connecting me back onto the network. So it looks like it's the router that is doing it.

Just upgraded it to the latest Netgear official firmware - V1.03.22

Up and stable for 4 hours.

7.9mbps at the minute, which is what is was this morning, and it's not dropped either.

Connection had dropped again this morning. Going to get my old BeBox back and try that again.

Just been out and bought a new router. Netgear DGN2000

Setting it all up now.

New router has synced at 9.3mbps, so will re-connect it in the AM to see if I can get it any faster.

btw should of asked me before buying another router as I know what chipsets run best off the DSLAM equipment in the exchanges

as they already got broadcom gear in the exchanges the 6548 broadcom chipset routers are the best buck for buck

the zyxel 660 range are the best adsl2+ routers for annex m but shocking downstream syncs

I did plenty of research before as to which routers work on Be's equipment, and the DGN2000 was said to be basically the same as the DG834GT with better firmware
