astra 2.2 ignition coils

Hi all, am new to this forum heard it is a very helpful forum so looking forward to using it to recieve and give out any useful info.

i have a astra z22se and need a new ignition coil i believe part number is 12580537 i have a delphi coil on there at the moment, is that original manufacturers part. vauxwarehouse on ebay have one but the bloke says its sagem which on other cars i've had problems with.

any help would be great thanks

that part number is for most z22se engines excluding some early vectra b's

so yes

if u look on the side of the coil pack it will show part number and manufacturer and they are mostly delphi

i would keep away from ebay concerning things like coil packs as it will be a pain if they go wrong, worth getting one from dealer m8 as u can get instant replacement if it fails

thanks for your help, so sticking to delphi is the best route then, reason i ask is i don't know who makes the coils for vauxhall on these engines. thanks

I bought one of ebay an "after market" and had bad performance when put it on computer it brought up loads of faults but when i put the old one back the car run perfect and when i phoned them i asked for a refund got it but took weeks to receive it....
