Just been reading another post on here and noted that the inlet cam is different depending on what car it came out of due to the Vectra having mechanical power steering. Anyways, I put a Vectra 2.2 in my Astra last year and simply took the power steering pump of the vectra engine and used the blanking plate of my knackered astra engine.
Question is, do the cams have different profiles or is what i've done ok? I still have the original astra cam somewhere if i need to swap them.
