EGR Blanking Plate Help

Went to Vauxhall yesterday and asked them if they had a EGR Blanking Plate for my Astra Coupe. He came back with a gasket with only one hole cut out.
I was wondering if thats right as he said thats the only one he knows, and if so will i still need to wire up my EGR Cheater or just fit the gasket under the EGR Valve and leave it plugged in??

so wont the EGR Gasket work what i got?? He says it blanks off the EGR Valve so it doesnt work??

That's just a standard EGR gasket. It won't stop the ERG functioning. You need to have the cheater to stop the function of the EGR valve.

Ive got the cheater. Im abit p**d off now as ive got the gasket and no reciept vx parts are st lol cheers anyway Johnny.

I've just had a look at my gasket and its got 2 bolt holes in it and 2 other holes. Can you post up a pic of your gasket. All may not be lost??

thats where mine is different mines got the bolt holes and only one hole for the EGR Valve

see mine is a thin gasket not a pressed piece of metal plate :S
