As topic heading say's 68MM PORTED THROTTLE BODY i have not contacted the seller yet to verify whitch one it is it was sold as a 2.0, 2.2, 2.4lt no metion of it being a s/c one here is the purchase slip
and yes as i said i have got issue's since i fitted the throttle body. I took the pipe off after doing just on 2oo clicks,
lite came back on dunno.. put exstenion tube back on whent out again :crazy: did 1000 clicks took off the tube it hasn't come back on :? .Rest the ecm tonite [left battery off for about 4hr's ] took for test drive no lite :thumbup:
BUT ALL THIS TIME THAT THE THROTTLE BODY HAS BEEN ON INCLUDING TONIGHT I HAVE HAD PROBLEM'S WITH IT IDLING BACK [ NOT ALL THE TIME THOUGH] WITH OUT THE AIR CON ON, & WHEN THE AIR CON IS ON IDLING BACK & STICKING AT AROUND 4000 RPM NOT FOR LONG THOUGH ONLY A FEW SECOND'S ENOUGH TO SCARE THE S!!S OUT OF YA :o .
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS AT THE DYNO WHEN IT STUCK AT WOT BOUNCING OFF THE REV LIMTER, 3 F!! TIME'S EMBARRESED THE S!* OUT OF ME.
I reckon the dyno operator hit the air con switch on when he slammed his hand into the dash thats why the throttle stuck on because it only sticks up in the revs when the air is on . Why do i say this because the dyno run reading was n/f/g [no f&#!~*G good]
max toqure at about 68 kph by this print out i did not lose the toqure at low revs from the mod's i did to the intake, throttle body,cyl head ,manifold porting & big exhaust work that out because i am still trying to notsure.gif .
135hp & 96 ftlb atw :upyours: thats pathtic that is 15hp & 74 ftlb atw :wtf: less than last time i went there which was 150 hp & 170 ftlb atw me car would be as fast as a horse & dray with that much loss of ftlb, they recon it is because they changed their computer program. Wont be going back there i will to drive to GLADSTONE which is 100 k's away or to MACKAY which is nearly 400 k's away, i'd say it will be gladstone because than i can go & see me bro that lives there. cheers.. b&b
P.S the same seller as on the reciept is selling a 2.0lt s/c throttle body now on ebay it is listed as one where as the one i brought was not listed as one. :o 5.30 am here time for a nanny nap.
