Well, the ice caps melted around Bristol this afternoon just after 2pm so I went out and checked the hose again and it was flowing freely. Time to use the new toy!
I poured about an inch of Snow Foam into the bottle and topped off with water. I had a bit of a play with the settings during the time that I used it and found the large spread to be best. The car was covered fairly quickly in a thick layer of foam and there was loads left in the bottle. I adjusted the foam concentration knob on the top of the bottle to apply a thicker amount of foam. The foam was clinging to the car for about 10 minutes before I gave it a rinse off with the jet washing attachment.
The majority of the dirt came away but there was some stubborn stuff along the bottom of the doors. Bit of a greasy film really that needed some extra work.
I then went around the bottom of the car with Meguiars NXT Shampoo and my soft brush. Then the wheels had a clean. I then jetted the car again. Then off with another bucket with NXT and my wash mit. Car cleaned from top to bottom and jetted off again.
I then dried off with my AutoGlym Synthetic drying cloth. Meguiars Endurance Gel for the tyres and all done for today. It came up lovely even without a waxing.
I can highly recommend this Snow Foam and Lance combination. Well worth the money!
Applying the foam...
Whilst waiting for the foam to work, 2 pictures of my crappy wheels brushes. The Meguiars Wheel Brush with collapsed bristles and no longer used. The Other is an AutoGlym wheel brush which is so hard that the bristles don't bend at all and is a waste of time to use!
10 minutes later...
Fast forward to the end results...
