Mark_Dj I was in a very quick car today 8) . It went up to 148Mph no problem at all, very quick 😛 . It was a......... Lotus Carlton 8) . The lad I bought the Gsi off today came with his wife to drop the car off I was buying and he was driving the Lotus Carlton. He said jump in and I will take you round the track :wink: . It blew my socks off :lol: . I loved the power it has bleh..
goose Phenomenal car. Saw the lotus carlton owners club at silverstone a couple of years ago. 25 of them on the track is a sight to behold.
Andy yeah the good thing is there isn't a limiter on it either, so is capable of very high speeds. my dad has just bought a 330 coupe BMW with 250bhp but its limited to 155 mph.
goose Petrol or diesel 330.? Matters not they are both crackin motors. Aye the m5 m6 new z4m all have big bhp ( between343-507) but as its limited it cant touch the lotus 😃
Andy i'm sure my dad would be happy to hear that. he priced tyres the other day out of curiosity and it was £200 each for the rears and £150 ( i think ) for the fronts. reckon he'll get rid of it before it needs a service or anything :lol:
goose Yeah our labour rate is 116 an hour with vat it`d put me off a bit. They do like rear tyres and occasionally springs but other wise prob the best we see.
goose Tell me about it my mate has an x5 diesel sport and its gonna cost 390 for a full service with my staff discount. He needed to sit down when i told him!!!!!!!!!!!
goose Imagine M3s and Z4ms have a five hour service everyother service as the valve clearances need doin. Thats without brakes if needed. Front discs are 150 each as i recall. Glad my ashtray is a tad cheaper.
