going to get my timing chain done

right then, my car is now at 53000 miles, and to put my mind at ease i'm going to get the work done, but it's a very expensive job to do and i don't have that much money so...

can any one point me in the direction of the parts i would need for the best price? found a timing chain kit on ebay for £98, can i get it cheaper than this?! hehe but if it's no good i'll pay more obviously,

can anyone help with the parts, i think i will ask Daz if he wants to do the work, i'd rather he had my money than some garage!!

no i don't think so either, it's an expensive job (unless you can do it yourself!), but i am going to keep my car for the duration, so i am going to get it done. Have asked Daz and he is willing so good news!

The prices of the chain kits have sky rocketed over the last few years. You used to be able to pick up the timing chain kit and the balance shaft chain kit for a shade over £200. Its way more than that last time I totalled it up.

Daz will look after you. He did my both my chain assemblies and he's done a friend of mine along with many others that he's rescued. Just make sure you take a nice warm jacket with you as he's too tight to heat his garage and the outside shitter is feckin freezing! pmsl..
