well lads and ladies.......just geting around to introducting maself on this thing lol
main reason i joined was because my coupe wouldnt start, when i tryed to start it a rattle noise came from the engine........the dame chain had went due to low oil.
at the moment the car is at the mechaincs and the head is out, i was lucky by reading other people posts who had to scrap their engines.
i had bent valves and my tensioner failed, so its getting new valves, chain and all that done then skimmed and ported next week.
question time lol
- while i have the engine out is there any other things i should be doing are could do to help the car?
- is there anyway i can keep track of the oil levels in the engine? (sounds like a silly question ano)
