Matt Just having a look through one of magazines which I bought last week. It comes with the beta version of the new Office 2007 suite. Lookks pretty damn sweet, and is a major change from 2003. I'll dig up some screen shots later on.
Sjdickso Installed it and didnt like it, IIRC it is not backwards compatible either as it saves with scertain extensions linked with XML. Will just wait until the proper version comes out. Also outlook on it will not connect to exchange 5 it has to be 2003.
JasGriff I have it installed on the laptop. I wish I hadnt because even though it claims to be backward compatable it seems to ruin everything i try and save. Thats what beta's are all about though i guess. Big change in the look though I think this is because it needs to tie in with the new windows.
Matt I never actually got round to installing it. I think I'll be sticking with Office 2003, it ain't broke, so I won't fix it.
Davemark i have this installed on my pc which also had vista beta 2 installed .. its pretty funky but takes a wile to get used to new layout Dave
