Hi newbie here got a quick question i would like to pick someones brains for the anawer if possible. I have a Astra 2.2 sri this morning i took it to the petrol station to fill up and when i returned it would not turn over as if the battery had died. I managed to bump start it on my own ( not a very nice thing to do at 5:30am ) and get to work, there i got a sparky to throw a volt meter over it and it all looks good battery charging and alternator doing its job but what happend was i turned the key once the petrol gauge went up then i turned the car over the petrol gauge started flicking from low to high? also sounded like i had a slight misfire and a gurgling noise from exhaust. would this be the coil pack or am i barking up the wrong tree? The car has done 65,000 miles and is a March 2002.
Hope someone can shed some light on this.
