Think my Karscher is fooked

Cleaned mine, the wife's and the brother-in-law's cars today, and half way through jetting the snow foam off, loads of smoke started to come out of the pressure washer :thumbdown: It was still working, but I've not tried it again. Will leave it a couple of days and see if it still works.

That doesnt sound good. Does the motor have oil in it? i know my dads did but that was a old one.

Yep, that's what I was thinking! I'll give it a try tomorrow, and see if it still smokes

how long have you had the pressure washer?

I don't actually remember when I bought it. I've had it for less than 12 months though, but God knows where the receipt is for it.

i would go through your bank statements matt if u paid by card

then ring up karscher UK and tell em the retailer is refusing to do a warranty claim on it and u want them to deal with it directly 🙂

most products have serial / product numbers so they should know when they were manufactured and sent to the retailer

Will do Mike. I bought two of them from Argos at the same time, so should be able to find the bank statement.

We've had the same with Dyson, our DC24 broke, and we couldn't find the receipt, but they still sent an engineer out to fix it. Engineer said "yep, seen your receipt" and it didn't cost us a penny.
