???cable throttle pedal box????

hi does anyone know which astras came with the cabled throttle? any info gratefully recieved!

I think u'll find it was the earlier 1.4's 1'6s and 1.8's..also the 2.0 non turbo was cable operated too..

excellent so that'll be the 'X' coded engines sort of 97 ish?

I think so yes...all the z's were electronic..

c & x range engines came with cabled throttle body

as daz said Z range engines with fly by wire thus vauxhall creating more expensive problems to go wrong

right o i had a cunning plan and e-bayed a r-s reg astra took the number plate and rang my local vx stealership £26 for the pedal £43 for the cable + vat.
should arrive tomorrow or saturday 😃
