Not F**kin happy!!

The last few months ive needed my tracking done so yesterday whilst changing my front brakes I got the blow torch out

and free'd up my track rod endsready to take it someware to get it done.

I didnt get time in the end yesterday so i thought id take it to Kwick fit today being that there the only place open!

So me and the g/f poped over there and waited for it to be done.

Then once the bloke had finnished with it he came into the reception to tell me i need two new track rod ends because they were seized on solid :wtf:

I wasnt happy with that response so i argued it but gave up and went home without me tracking any better.

When i got back i checked my track rod end and both sides are as free as anythin :wtf:

By that time i was well P**sed so i rang the nobs back up and demanded to know why they were trying to sell people parts they dont need but got a load of bs about him not being able to move them :evil:

So ive took his name and the managers name and im about to write the head ofice an email.

Who the F**k do these people think they are to insult my inteligence and try and pull the wool over me eyes!

KwiK fit are C**ts!

Never again!

I just cant beleive what they get away with Thats shocking what hapend to vocky F**kin well out of order!

Thats the first time ive been there in over 6 years and there still the same shower of shite now!!!

Do you think its worth me making a complaint to head office against them or am i just going to get fobbed off with a load of old waffle?

Ive put in a complaint against them and ill see what i get back.

Ill get the tracking done someware else then get them to do a report on it to prove that theres nothing wrong with the track rods!

jst to put a semi good word in for qwick fit, i got the brake discs and pads replaced on the corsa wen i was like 18, they did it in an hour, straight away, plus they werent exactly quiet, had a few peoples cars waiting and full lifts, but since i was there they did it there and then. wasnt too pricey either i thot, 150 quid plus gave me a thing that as long as i owned the car i got free replacements.

i thot wahayy, im making a steal here, gonna keep this car for years now and make my money back.

then about a month later, i was drivin back from glasgow and within 10 miles of gettin back to inverness my coolant temp shot up really quickly and by the time i glanced down at my guages again it was right at the top and then bang. no power no anything, two of the pistons seized and the car was dead.

but i dont blame quick fit for that, they only did my brakes, right :think:

i remember going into to qwik fit for an emergency as my back box feel off an old vectra i had, whilst i was there he quoted me on a set of discs and pads all round, set of 4 tyres and new bushes

think it came to £1200 and told me it needed doing urgently

me being the wise guy who still acted ignorant said well the MOT i got yesterday [ handed him the certificate] said otherwise, perhaps you would like to ring up the MOT Station and ask them why they are putting my life at risk by passing an un roadworthy car

he then thought about it and couldn't answer back

thing is burt they rely on ignorance and I would say 1in 20 drivers who go to qwik fit dont know jack about their cars

worst ones atm are MOT's who purposely fail u on minors just to charge u a retest

I can quite beleive that mike its not so bad for the likes of us lot who know our cars inside out but it makes you think about all the poor people who get roped into forkin out hundreds if not thousands on bits they dont need.

It'l be interesting to see what i get back from the head office after the email i sent them :lol:

I know what you mean burt a lot of them are told to do it tho
but can you imagine some women being put into a panic because
of this scum and robbed because they dont know.
i always take my gf's car in and the ex's if its for something i'm not able to do
and stand and watch that p****s them
off but tuff 😃
