Vectra 2.2 direct sri p110 code problem

Hi guys, as posted in thread title. Had the ECL on for a little while now and my mate read it with his code scanner.
It came back as p0110 which I think is air intake sensor low voltage .
Ive owned the car from new and been serviced on time by vauxhall up until the last one , which I did myself due to being out of warranty now.
This problem is destroting my fuel consumption and Im down to about 25 mpg on an avereage run to work (50 miles).
Does anyone know the part number for this and is it an expensive fix.

ETA - power feels well down as well, but the car still revs and drives ok, not limp mode or anything.
And also , when I first turn the key in the igintion, I get inspec in the display, rather than the service indicator light. Is this normal?

according to my EPC there was no air temp sensor on the vectra C, it was replaced by the air flow meter

however I do remember air flow meter's having integrated air temp sensors inside them as well so it could well be that, worth waiting for another opinion

Hi MikeS, thanks for the quick reply.
I could see on ebay air intake sensors for the vectra c z16xe engine and thought I was maybe just not able to find the one for my engine.
The same place have given me a price of £86 for a MAF. I was hoping to not go down that route, but looks like I may have too.

pop the bonnet up

the air intake sensor should be located on the air intake pipe from air box to throttle body

if you have not got one then i reckon it is integrated within the air flow meter

if u need to replace air flow meter either get one from scrappy or buy one from dealership

dont go down the cheap route buying new 🙁

Hmm, well it looks as if there is no air inlet sensor to be seen. Replacing the MAF looks like the ionly answer, however Im sure Ive seen it mentioned that you can remove the MAF and clean it up?
Is it just a case of spraying it with carb cleaner, and if it is, where do you spray it? All over or just on a certain part.
Sorry for my stupidity here.

get a can of carb cleaner and spray gently inside the air flow meter leaving about 5 - 6 inches space between the 2, u can use brake cleaner as well as it is near enough the same stuff

however I do not 100% recommend it as it could kill off your air flow meter if it is already on its last legs

I seen my old man put a x20xev air flow meter in a bucket of hot soapy water then rinse it with cold water [off my old calibra], I caught him in the act and couldn't beleive it, I just sprayed it with carb cleaner then a light spray of wd40 and it still worked lol

Hi Mikes, once again thanks for the reply.
I have went and ordered a genuine vauxhall air flow meter from my local motor diy store and I should have it tomorow afternoon.
Hopefully once fitted, the poor fuel consumption,poor power and EML light will dissapear.
I have read on here about the air box conversion, making it less restrictive. Is it something that is worthwhile doing.
Is there any other easy ish sort of mods to extract a little bit more power from this engine?

To reset the "inspec" service indicator just :-

With the ignition switched off, press and hold in the odometer button;
Whilst holding in the odometer button, press and hold the brake pedal;
Now, continuing to hold the button and the pedal, switch on the ignition;
Hold down the button and pedal until the "INSP" light stops flashing and turns to 3 dashes "---"; and
Switch off the ignition

The derestricting of the Vec C airbox is just a little cover on the bottom of the airbox, it just clips off, dont cut off the trumpet however that is in front of the MAF as I believe that aligns the airflow over it.
