sdbutler10 right getting closer to my rebuild so what i need to know can i use the z22se conrods on the z22yh pistons?
sdbutler10 havent really got the funds for eagel rods thats why i would like to know if the z22se rods will fit?
Blue_2_2 im sure they would fit, but the question is why fit them? You are upgrading the pistons, but leaving std rods....... The rods fail at 250hp and the pistons go onto 300hp(ish) At least the pistons will be in one piece when the rods snap! (lol)
vocky I think zafiraz22se still has a set of z22yh rods, I think they are stronger than the standard z22se - can't remember notsure.gif
sdbutler10 he did have a det of pistons and rods but he wanted to sell them together but i already have one half lol. im not even aiming for 250bhp i will be happy with 200 if i could even get that lol. i think it might just be a case of buying some spare z22se rods and trying that. as trying to find z22yh rods is very hard.
