gbobm Hey guys I've got a 2001 VX220 2.2 that's currently sitting on 79k. I thought I'd better check if my engine was in the range for the cam chain problems, but it doesn't have the same type of number as I've seen on here in the V5c. It says next to the Engine number section Z22SE-TA005671. Is this correct and does this fall into the danger range? Thanks for your help. Bob
vocky the TA series are mostly early engines which had the early chain kit :thumbdown: to be honest I would replace a vx220 timing chain much earlier than the recommended 100,000 miles, so it might be an idea to get it done i the near future dunno..

vocky it's never nice spending money on service items, but it's money well spent. Benny is much cheaper than the dealers, might soften the blow dunno..
