Speed Bump = SQUEEK

For last few days from the front passenger suspension I've been getting a squeek when going over hump back speeds bumps, the ones about a foot deep by 6 inches high. They bounce the car quite alot even at slow crawling speeds.

I've thought about spraying rubbers with WD40.

Any ideas what it could be, is WD a good or bad idea?

Wd40 might do a quick fix but it'l come back in a short space of time.

You would be better off lightly greasing the top mounts and lower arm bushes with eather lithium grease or copper slip :thumbup: bit of a job but would sort it if its those bits that are sqeeking.

Mine dose it a bit but i dont go over speed bumps to often so ive left it.

As said it will do a quick fix.

I would also look at replacing them and using lithium grease. If you have a astra may be worth swapping the drop links these are cheap and prone to wear.
