I'm considering getting a shark fin ariel for my coupe once the roof has been done.

Has anyone done this?

Don't you have to cut into the wiring for the aerial to change to one of those?

not sure it will be a straight swap as i have heard that the Astra's have a powered booster in the moulding, notsure.gif

i have one on my vec estate looks good but not to good at picking up the radio station's 🙁
so i'm thinking about going back to a VX ariel

same here ,reception is pretty crap but does look good colour coded

Aaargghhhhhhhhh, i purchased one off evil bay the other day..jus waiting for it to arrive...im guna put it on temporarily and see if it any gud.if yes will paint it up,,will post pics wen done. 🙂 .

got ma shark fin but reception is shite, i lose radio stations when i charge ma phone...fink im guna mod it slightly. 🙂
