Can i run the M62 with a smaller pulley on standard compression? Or do i need to lower it?

It would depend on the ecu/mapping courtenays already have to retard the ingition on the std pulley, but they don't have full control of the ECU so map it safe IIRC.

You'd need to change the rods as you can get over their top power rating with the stock pulley.

I came to that conclusion too..
I have a 3.1" pulley that I was going to put on, but when you think of the parasitic loss on the supercharger, going to a smaller pulley (i.e. adding more parasitic loss) could easily push the actual power over the limit without you realising
