Yep got half way to work and the got a call to say it was shut. Only issue is you have to take it as a days annual leave.

Well we made it into work this morning, because we set of just as it was starting, but there are only about 20 people in the building.

Takes the piss though, all these people saying they can't make it, but yet the Sandwich van and Pasty van have both been!

Its timing sucks....Ive had Xmas leave and the kids off school for it to flippin snow.
First day back at work, Guard trainning for Guard that starts next Thursday, may have to get a room on camp if it stays like this.
Kates just been signed off for a further 3 weeks and has an MRI scan in Norwich later at 7.
Hopefully gonna get away about 4 today, should get me home at 5.30 for the trip to the Hospital which could take up to an hour in this crap. :thumbdown:

Also have a 4 week course in Kent straight after my Guard duties and want to travel back home at the weekends..

really bad all over manchester aswell we got sent home from work 4 and half hours after gettin there only to have to dig all our cars out again to get out of the carpark it was murder this morn i only used 3rd gear all the way there and was still wheel spining when stopping at lights that was at 05:30 when no other cars had been on it so unless it suddenly rains boilin hot water all night i cant see me even gettin out of bed tmorow 🙂

Just spoke with the wife, and all the shops in Sheffield centre have been closed.

Just spent about 2hrs helping clear our back road so everyone can get up the road. No salt in any of bins round us either! I wouls say around 4" at the lowest and around 9" in places where it has drifted.

My TC spat it's dummy out.

Its just started in the oxford area well at about 5pm so looks like were all in for some s**t weather!
